I have a B.W. Raymound Elgin pocket watch. However it's not in mint condition. Someone did some cheesy sodering to the top "bail" of it. What is it worth in this type of condition? Ive looked on several antique watches websites and see that

You are bidding on one Non-working Elgin pocketwatch. Belonged to my uncle and other than that I can only give you a good visual description and what it carries copy-wise on the case. Again, I do not have expertise regarding this watch, but I will do my best to describe what you will be getting. Both the crystal, face, hands and case seem to be in very good condition. The case is heavily oxidized, but is free of dings and dents. The crystal is approximately 1.75″ in diameter. On the face it only says: Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. Opening the first back the metal is much more shiny. The text there says: Warranted Trade Mark Coin Silver Q5491. Inside the second back the mechanism is visibe. Inside this second back there is the text: Q5491 with a number 3 over that. On the face of the mechainism is the text: 838668 and Elgin, Il and Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. Along this inside edge is repeated: Q5491. Hope this all means something to you.
