Vintage Hats

Does anyone know of a hat collector that may appreciate vintage hats?

I have several vintage hats ranging from the 1930's to the 1970's and I have no use for them.(the hat museum in Stockport are'nt collecting from this era) Maybe a theatre or private collector?

I like vintage hats, but I don't like paying much for them. I usually pick oldish hats up from thriftstores and if they are plain I make them odd.
But actually I've seen plenty on ebay. They seem to sell for more than I am willing to pay, but

Vintage Hats for Women

Now why in the world some women collect vintage hats for women as part of their wardrobe collection? One thing strange about women is they are always updating themselves with the latest accessories and fashion clothing.Let us explore together the history of these vintage hats and why do women still wear them today.

Even back to 1920s, women wore hats to show they have a strong moral character and no women actually left the house without wearing one. Even if they have to do mundane stuffs like gardening or going to tend to their animals, the hats will be the first thing they grab before heading out the door. Also during the 1920s was the first time American women can vote and the women began a fashion statement by wearing a tight fitting hat that will cover their hat nicely.
