What do you call the Christmas lights that have different settings and twinkle?

I have this vintage set of Christmas lights from my great grandmother and I'm looking to find some more. The set has a control box with a dial and 7 settings, each setting makes the lights chase and twinkle or fade, etc... What are these lights called

They're called multi-function. Not sure how "vintage" they'd be since the electronics have only been commercially available fairly recently.
