Today's NASCAR Sprint Cup race at the Tricky Triangle -- Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa. -- should be a terrific battle. The unique 2.5-mile "roval" is tough on driver and car and repays patience and smart driving.

But excuse me for jumping ahead to the Irish Hills and Michigan International Speedway this weekend for ARCA, Nationwide and Cup action.

I love June and August race weekends at MIS, and folks who have made the trip know what I mean.
