Is reporting that when the 50th anniversary version of the pony touches down in 2014, it will arrive in unfamiliar markets, including the UK. That means that the muscle car will boast a right-hand drive interpretation for the first time in its history. I have thought for a while that the Mustang could stand to lose some weight. Just because the Camaro and Challenger are even more bloated is no excuse. Get the Mustang back down to the weight of the Fox 5.0, which would be a weight loss of 300 to 400 pounds, and that alone would help fuel economy AND performance, even if the 3.7 and 5.0 were carried over unchanged. I say good for Ford. And if you decide you like the currrent generation better when the 2014 comes out, there will be tons of lightly used ones on the market. See, it's not the end of the world.
