Car Salvaging May Salvage Memories of My Youth

Do-it-yourself salvage yards swell popular
"They're among a growing slew of do-it-yourself salvage yards, a trend that comes as quarrel metal prices soar, making the profession far more profitable than it in olden days was."
When I was a pup, I enjoyed the occasional pop in to a salvage yard for the chance to look all about the amazing collection of old cars and trucks laying close to. As I grew older, I noticed a upsetting trend: Some salvage lots were disappearing and others became "pre-pulled" style of places where you couldn't meander around yourself. I didn't like those developments at all.
Detroit Scandal has an AP story about the growing celebrity of DIY salvage yards. Recently I posted an articled entitled "Tiff Is No Longer Crap" and these yards are a entirely related to that: scrap is importance more and people are trying to be more consequences. I look forward to taking my kids to a throw away yard someday and hope they have seeing automotive history in its most spunky form.
