Below is the current policy of the Holdings Office:
Currently we are holding checks we are receiving for a pair of days in case the City Gathering wishes to rescind the charge. We arrange already processed numerous payments and the process of refunds is onerous and costly, so Burg Council action is necessary sooner measure than later.
If the customer complains that they should not possess a bill, or that they were billed incorrectly, we receive no authority at this time to set right any changes. They are asked to put their gripe in writing, provide their big cheese and account number, and we will address the complaints as spell permits. No payment is required with the written beef. We will accept letters mailed, dropped off, faxed, or emailed to sidewalkfee@annapolis.gov
