Is an A-frame cabin built on a raised foundation to facilitate airflow underneath?
The A-frame cabins I've seen are built on concrete foundation pillars, leaving a 3-4 foot crawlspace beneath the cabin. I'm curious if this is for any specific reason, like ventilation or airflow. I've seen them built this way in the far North in Canada,
If the A-Frame had a basement then it wouldnt be built that way. Think about it.

RT : seriously, where are the cabin crew crisping up duck in those tiny hotboxes that contain your Qantas 1st class meals?
