Can a Walmart gift card be used to purchase a Visa Gift Card?

I received a Walmart Gift Card worth $25 and there's something I want to buy not at Walmart. Could I theoretically use the card to buy a Visa Gift Card (which can be used everywhere) since they sell those at Walmart. Has anyone tried this?

Danville takes steps to keep kids reading

DANVILLE — Danville schools officials want to encourage young students to read over the summer break to alleviate the "summer slide."

That's why they have teamed up with the Danville Public Library, Danville Mass Transit and Walmart to offer the Summer Accelerated Reader Program for 2010-11 kindergarten through fifth-grade students in the district.

"All of the elementary school librarians in the district hope the students are involved," said East Park Elementary School librarian Louis K. Morris, who started the program last summer. "We don't want them to lose any of the skills that they gained over the last year."
