Appeal after two homes are targeted
Burglars broke into two homes in South Ribble. The first incident happened between 11am and 4.45pm on Monday at a detached home in Woodcock Close, Bamber Bridge. The raiders broke in through the front door of the property before searching through the house. Stolen was a black Acer laptop and charger, silver bracelet and a plastic bottle containing loose change. The second incident happened in the first floor flat in Victoria Terrace, Lostock Hall. The offenders broke into the flat by accessing the door from a flight of steps. They then stole a Black and Decker hammer drill and various kinds of aftershave. In addition, five Ascot watches with silver bracelets were taken. Police are now appealing for anyone who is offered the property to come forward. Det Sgt Jon Cass, of South Ribble CID, said: “We are aware that stolen property gets offered around. “If anyone is offered or sees any of this property, please get in touch.” Anyone with information should contact police on 101. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
