SIMPLE way to finish a braided leather bracelet?

I bought colorful leather strips at Michael's, and i want to braid them. I already have a leather braided bracelet, but it's not colorful. How do i finish this new one without tying it or making it a big project?? (Tying it doesn't work-it's too thick

Rivets or you can take it when it is done to a shoe maker and he can "tack" it with the heavy sewing machine to keep the bands together. Another thing would be a buckle ring that you can squeeze together to pinch down the ends.
